The first sign of bad luck was that I was paid $70 dollars for the entire month. That's like two tanks of gas if I'm lucky. Working in education, we get paid once a month. Pay period ends on the 10th. My first day of work happened to be on the 10th (and only a half day at that). Second instance of bad luck was the Valentine's Weekend Fiasco. Today we had what I will call the China Peak Disaster... Woke up at 5am, made it to the summit around 9:30 due to chains falling off the moving vehicle and multiple stops to fix them. Once we got there we attempted to use our buy one get one free tickets (Like I said, only paid $70 bucks this month) only to find out that on the 20th of Feb it is a blackout day and they cannot be used. Instead of forking out the extra cash that we knew we shouldn't use, we turned around and came back home :( Sad day.
Our day wasn't totally lost. Bummed we didn't get to hit the slopes, but instead we were able to come home, watch SNL, & paint. We had skinny bitches (vanilla vodka and Diet Coke) to ease the pain and then decided to invite my next door neighbor Jill over and her kids and nieces. Our night turned out pretty fun actually!
Luck... you can try to push me down but you will never break my spirits!! If I don't believe, then you don't exist!!!
On the four lane... pulling over to put on our chains... the first time...
Spirits still high!
My hubby to the rescue!
Shaver Lake
Welcome to China Peak.
This is about all we saw of it... :(
Our next door neighbors Cole & Nick... Andrew's best buds!
Tell me what you see...
Bon Fire @ the house with the neighbors... Andrew made them all swords and then they decided to make a "clan". This was one of their meetings.
